Who are you, and what do you do?

I’m Gene Maddison, currently based in Melbourne and working as a software developer at Kablamo. I love Coffee, playing and making video games and making things in general.

What hardware do you use?

I have a self built windows based desktop computer which has relatively new hardware, a 2080 TI OC and AMD Ryzen 9 3900x. I also use 2 monitors, LG 32" and a Phillips 43", both of which are mounted on monitor arms and also a Huion tablet for drawing/sketching and modelling. I also use an Ergodox EZ split mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Browns and a standing desk for comfort and ergonomics.

And what software?

• Joplin for note taking and organization
• VScode/ Visual Studio for coding

• Firefox for browsing
• Blender for modeling and design
• Adobe Illustrator for drawing

• Figma for mockups

What would be your dream setup?

More monitors and LEDs, basically the same thing that Batman uses would be ideal.
