Who are you, and what do you do?

I’m Darren Solomon and I’m a Software Engineer at Kablamo.

What hardware do you use?

I splurged a little and bought a 16" MacBook Pro (M1 Pro), and no, I’m not bothered by the notch. My home setup involves plugging it into my X34 Predator Ultrawide. 2 VS Code files and a web browser for documentation etc on the same screen is as good as it sounds. I park my tush on a Secret Labs Titan chair which is quite comfy.

And what software?

• Safari as my web window
• Postman for prodding my APIs
